ロシア軍によるウクライナ侵攻に関する声明
恵泉女学園大学は、創立者河井道の「戦争のない世界を作るためには、キリスト教精神を基に、世界に開かれた人間、世界平和に貢献する女性を育てていく」との理想を礎として、「真の平和を担う、女性の学問探究の場を造り、真の平和を担う女性を育てる」女性の大学として1988年に開学されました。この建学の精神に立脚し、平和を希求する私たち教職員・学生有志は、明白な国際法違反であるこのたびのロシア政府によるウクライナへの軍事侵攻に対し反対の意を表明し、市民・民間人の殺傷と難民及び避難民の発生、核リスクの拡大を防ぐためにも、即時停戦とロシア軍のウクライナ領内からの迅速な撤退を求め、早急かつ具体的な平和的解決を強く望みます。
軍事侵攻に伴う、ウクライナのすべての被害者への救済と人権の保障が不可欠です。すでに甚大なスケールで発生している破壊と恐怖から逃れるため移動を余儀なくされた人々に対し、民族、ジェンダー、年齢にかかわらず適切かつ必要な人道的支援が国際的に迅速に履行されることを望み、私たちも可能な限り協力していきます。
私たちは、恒久的平和に近づくためにはグローバルな軍備縮小、全体主義的・排外主義的政策の排除、人権の保障が不可欠と考えます。戦争を止めることは、その土台になるものです。ロシア国内をはじめ、世界中で平和を希求し、戦争に反対し、苦しんでいる人々への支持を表明する人々への連帯を表明し、ウクライナの市民・民間人が一日でも早く日常の生活を取り戻せるようになることを心から祈ります。

Statement on the Invasion of Ukraine by Russian Forces
Keisen University was founded in 1988 as a women's university, based on the ideal of its founder, Michi Kawai, who said, "In order to create a world without war, we must nurture people who are open to the world and women who contribute to world peace based on the Christian spirit." Based on this founding spirit, we, the faculty, staff, and students of Keisen University who seek peace, express our opposition to the recent military invasion of Ukraine by the Russian government, which is a clear violation of international law, and demand an immediate ceasefire and the swift withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory in order to prevent the killing and maiming of civilians, the creation of refugees and displaced people, and the expansion of nuclear risk. In order to prevent civilian casualties, refugees, and the spread of nuclear risk, we call for an immediate ceasefire and the rapid withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory, and strongly hope for an immediate and concrete peaceful solution.
It is essential to provide relief and guarantee human rights for all victims of the military invasion in Ukraine. We hope for and will cooperate as much as possible with the prompt implementation of appropriate and necessary international humanitarian assistance, regardless of ethnicity, gender, or age, to those who have been forced to move to escape the destruction and horror that has already occurred on a massive scale.
We believe that global disarmament, the elimination of totalitarian and xenophobic policies, and the guarantee of human rights are essential to approaching lasting peace. Stopping war is the foundation for this. We express our solidarity with those in Russia and around the world who seek peace, oppose war, and express support for those who are suffering, and sincerely hope that the citizens and civilians of Ukraine will be able to return to their daily lives as soon as possible.
