I was born in Paris, lived in London for many years and moved to Japan in 2007. Tokyo is my third hometown! I have many hobbies relating to crafts. I used to make and play mandolins, but now I enjoy playing the ukulele and singing (terribly badly!). In my spare time, I like reading books about advertising.

Using Advertising (広告), and the language of adverts and CMs, to learn English, understand other societies and the ways advertising influences them and us. My main focus is on the representation of gender in advertising, and how that affects men and women's perception of themselves and others.
